Google Dashboard

More trying to convince, recently Google has launched a new feature that allows users to view personal data stored, and to control or remove some.

Google Dashboard summarizes the data for each product and provide consumers with a direct link to control personal settings. Users will be able to see a summary of their email, search queries, and so on in one place.

This dashboard includes more than 20 products and services, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Web History, Orkut, YouTube, Picasa, Talk, Reader and Alerts.

"The scale and level of detail Dashboard unprecedented, and we are pleased to become the first Internet company to offer this - and we hope this will become the standard," Google said.

Of course there is a good chance that when the user actually see how much Google's watching them, and they will not find it particularly convincing.
